Description

Netagi's Aplinx® Formplan is a family of applications for the creation of online forms and database.

No programming is required as the database is automatically created in the system when the form is designed.

There are two levels of Formplan - with the added advantage of our new Survey Manager package, for even more survey and form power.

All Aplinx® Formplan applications:

Formplan lite

This version allows for very fast form and database design. Simply choose from a list of standard questions (such as Name, Email, Contact Details) tick the box to add each question to your form, then save tick the box and a form field is created. No need to format anything! Custom questions may also be created.

Formplan

Level two adds design elements to your form creation. In a word processor like environment, make your form by inserting each of the question and answer fields required. When you save the newly created form, a database is dynamically created to support the form.

Features

  • Ability to build with a variety of user widgets such as:

  • Each form is automatically database driven, which means no extra effort/programming is required to save the data entered in the form by the internet user, to the database.
  • All form field types (mentioned above) are validation enabled which means they can be easily configured to accept only certain valid values. If that value is not entered by the Internet user, a validation message is displayed allowing the user to enter a valid value.
  • The data submitted by the Internet user is stored in the database and can easily be listed, sorted and edited by the administrator as required.
  • The administrator can get a copy of data via email, as soon any record is either newly added or edited.
  • The Internet user entering the data can get a preconfigured auto-response via e-mail as soon as they submit the form with required information.
  • Some fields can be configured to be 'Hidden' fields. These hidden fields are not accessible in the front end to the internet user, but can be accessed/edited by administrator in the backend.  Examples of such hidden field includes a 'Credit Worthiness' field of a Customer form which should not be seen/entered/altered by customers by should be accessible to the administrator.
  • In special cases, each record can be uniquely identified using special unique fields such as username, email, id / TFN or passport number. If a user enters a value already saved to the database, they will be asked to try again.
  • Every record entered by an Internet user can be protected using a username and password.
  • The Internet user can use their username and password to view the information that was entered and change it if required.
  • The data entered in the form can also be published (viewed publicly) if required.
  • The published form data may be equipped with search facilities, allowing users to find the specific information within the saved data.
  • The data entered in the form can also be exported as a comma delimited file which can be easily imported by other office applications.
